A Refuge for the Soul

Welcome to Shiloh...

Welcome to Shiloh where our doors are open wide to everyone, and our hearts shut to no one seeking to find a safe place for spiritual life, growth and Salvation.

What visitors usually notice first about Shiloh is the sweet presence of God in our worship gatherings. These times are marked with joyful worship, warm fellowship and relevant teachings from His Word – a combination that touches the heart and lifts the soul.

A closer look will prove that you are surrounded by people just like you – people that are filled with hopes and fears, joys and sorrows, strengths and weaknesses. The common thread being that we all are committed to growing stronger and better through it all.

Together we are working to become like the church we believe Jesus wants us to be.

Our goal is to provide an atmosphere of acceptance, where people can grow spiritually through vibrant worship, honest friendships, a caring fellowship, constant prayer and compassionate concern for the world.

So whether you are just beginning your walk toward God, or a committed believer continuing your walk with Him, you can find a home at Shiloh.

We would love to have you come for a visit and make yourself a part of our family.

God Bless You

Shiloh 60th Anniversary

Shiloh 60th Anniversary

Shiloh Temple Pentecostal Church celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2010. What a tremendous milestone in our history as a “Refuge for the Soul”.

At this time we, the current assembly of believers, look back with joy, thankfulness, and appreciation to Jesus Christ our Lord, Savior, and God. We take time to remember those who laid the foundations of our beginning at Ramp Creek and those who steadfastly preserved this precious assembly.

Those of us who are now here for such as a time as this have the wonderful privilege of being placed as "trustees" in times to come. We claim the promises of our past generations. We hold firmly to our visions of today. We boldly move forward proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to generations to come. All praise to Jesus Christ.

From our Family

"I didn’t always go to church. Our children started going to Sunday school with my Dad and Mom. My wife and I started attending in 1973. I go to Shiloh Temple because I want to be saved and I want to see my family saved. I believe Pastor Elkins teaches the Bible truth about salvation. I like the friendships that I’ve fostered here at Shiloh. I like the worship of the people. If you want to be saved and you’re looking for a church, welcome to Shiloh."
Charles May

"I’m a servant of the King of Kings first of all. After that I’m a husband, then a father, then a carpenter (Jesus was a carpenter). I live for God because I know He really exists – I truly believe it. I would not want to live my life without God in it. With God I have hope when things go wrong -- and they often do. The promises of God keep me wanting to do the right thing. There is a strong brotherhood at Shiloh. They pray for me and I pray for them. I thank God also for a praying mother and for the love she showed me."
